Call For Papers

NSG-2025 invites authors to submit papers on research that leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to address a wide range of social issues, including but not limited to education, law, healthcare, climate change, and any of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Topics of Interest

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Applications and solutions addressing the NLP for Social Good (NSG) theme.
• Natural Language Interfaces and Interaction: design and implementation of natural language interfaces, user studies with human participants on NSG topics.
• Large Language Models & Vision Language Models: opportunities and risks of using LLMs and VLMs in NSG.
• Innovative and responsible use of NLP for social good.
• Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI): interpretability and transparency in NSG applications.
• Corpus/Dataset Analysis: collection, creation, or analysis of datasets relevant to NSG topics.
• Multi-modal solutions addressing the NSG theme.
• Unique contributions to any of the 17 SDGs using NLP.
